I recently picked up COBA's Original Brew extract and their bar Sampler Box, and both are incredible! The Original Brew extract is a total game-changer for my mornings—just mix a splash of the concentrate with milk or water, and you instantly have a rich, full-bodied cup of coffee with zero brewing time. It has wonderful earthy notes and a perfectly clean finish. The Sampler Box is just as impressive; getting to try the Espresso, Matcha, Chai, and Hojicha edible bars was a treat. They provide a perfectly clean energy boost for when I'm on the go. Highly recommend this local Berkeley brand!
Nowhere on the bottle or website is there a caffeine amount posted. I’m a breastfeeding mom so I have to know how much. Two teaspoons as recommended is not enough to get the ‘latte’ I’m going for. I’ve tried several coffee concentrate brands and this sadly isn’t cutting it.
I do like this product; it's super convenient to be able to pour in the amount I want. However, the excessive packaging, and $8 shipping will be the end of this subscription!!
Bummed about the downgrade in packaging - can’t lie it’s a little weird for coffee concentrate to be dispensed from what looks like a hair product bottle.
I love this stuff! Especially during the summer when you don't want to make anything hot, and with the school year starting up again soon, it's the best quick coffee for my mornings! Mint is my favorite! It's great with or without sweetener in some ice water or you can add it to fancier more elaborate coffee creations.
I have come to rely on my Coba in the mornings when I simply don't have time to make my espresso coffee drink. It's delicious and since I drink it mixed with Oatmilk, it's almost like having a milkshake drink in the morning ... NUM! Hint: I love to blend up mushroom powder with it, for extra clarity. It's a fabulous way to start a fantastic day!
Tried this at a festival and it’s ideal for camping or to have on hand for those mornings where you forgot to make cold brew. Also, I never would’ve thought to put mint in coffee, but it’s delicious..
I mix it with Oatmilk (and mushroom) in the morning. Tastes like a coffee milkshake but without the additional sweetener aside from the Oatmilk's natural sweetness. It's a delicious, quick way to get my strong coffee fix without having to deal with the whole brewing process. Makes my morning routine much quicker ... and quite yum !
This ain't your grandmother's instant coffee!
COBA has come up with a means to avoid that metallic flavor that I often experience when I have no option but to have “instant” coffee. In one of my “why am I up this late” nights casually browsing offers that appeared in my inbox, I stumbled on CObA Coffee Concentrates. After hemming and having and should I or not, the offer of a fancy COBA coffee cup got me to order and I am very happy that I did! The flavor is very smooth while also being robust. I cannot distinguish it from a freshly needed cup of coffee. I planned on having it around in case of emergency but it is so tasty that I am almost finished with what I ordered. It doesn't help that this totally feeds my laziness when thinking of the arduous task of actually making a pot of coffee. This little bottle is magic. And I'm happy I stayed up late to find it!
I can't imagine my morning without COBA mint coffee. I'm an iced coffee addict and this is perfect with a few ice cubes, milk, chilled water and agave syrup. It takes me a less than a minute to make. I've been a Starbucks addict for decades and COBA coffee tastes so much better than Starbucks. The flavor is smooth and not burnt at all. I could drink this without sweetener as well, but agave syrup brings this to a whole new level. I tried this at the SF coffee festival and this one was the best one!
